About

Erik Blicker is a composer, guitarist and singer. When he was eight, his father took him to the library where he checked out a Beatles record and showed him how to record it to cassette and Reel to Reel. Hooked, Erik began studying music at 11, was teaching by 16, and opened a teaching studio/music store at 18. With a Bachelors in music and engineering from the University of Miami and a Masters from Aaron Copeland School of Music, where he studied with Jazz great Jimmy Heath, Erik learned to score for film and television which led to him co-founding Flavorlab, a one-stop audio shop, in 2004. Flavorlab’s clients include ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO and many others.

He is also a Protools master, audio mixing fanatic, and Macintosh master. He takes most pride in his family and is grateful for and inspired by his parents Fred and Jeanne, his wife Jennifer, sons Ryan and Max plus daughter Ella.
